Helloo,
With everything going on right now, I have been trying to get outside and embrace Autumn in all it’s glory instead of moping about everything else we are unable to do. Speaking of, I hope you are all well and coping with the ever changing measures we are currently facing.

One thing that always lifts my spirits is wearing a nice outfit on my days off, which may seem superficial but I really do believe in the power of clothes and the difference a good outfit can make to your day, especially if you’re like me and you spend most days in front of my laptop doing online university in loungewear.

With that in mind, I thought I would share one of my favourite things I have worn in quite a while since it includes some new items I bought recently and am in love with, starting with the check trousers.

As soon as I saw these trousers a couple of weeks ago I knew I had to buy them. Once again they remind me of the late 80s/ early 90s, the kind of style Meg Ryan would wear in ‘When Harry Met Sally’- the ideal movie for this time of year, would you not agree? I honestly want to steal every outfit she wears in that movie so I am on a never ending mission to recreate them.

The trousers are part of Primark’s A/W range this year and made entirely from recycled materials which is amazing as I am trying to be pickier about where my clothes come from as of late. They are also only £10 so what’s not to love!

As you can see above, I paired them with a simple black polo neck, leather jacket. black brogues(new from River Island), brown crossbody bag and beret of course, but I can’t wait to restyle them and wear them time and time again. I felt instantly more like myself, or rather the me I aim to be, when I had this outfit on, which is the best feeling and one of the main reasons I never fall out of love with fashion.
Sincerely,
Stephanie xo
