Winter to Spring Style

I’m sure I will not be alone when I say that I am so happy that it is March which means spring is on the horizon and the puffy winter coats can be put away. I love this time of year because my birthday is looming and the weather is finally getting a little warmer (I hope I don’t jinx it).

With this in mind, I went shopping the other day on the lookout for the perfect outfit for this time when winter meets spring for others who are in a constant struggle when it comes to transitional style.

I found this snake print skirt and jumper from Primark. In the past I have not been a fan of animal print at all- especially leopard print-  however in the past few months I have been won over a little by snake print. I never thought this day would come since I have a complete phobia of snakes.

I always love the midi skirt style for summer; it reminds me of a 50s movie starring Audrey Hepburn or Grace Kelly, and now this combo with the jumper and boots gives it just the right balance between winter and spring- perhaps I have finally found my perfect transitional outfit!

To top it off, the total for the skirt and jumper was £26. Crazy! I always love a bargain.

Hello! My name is Stephanie Elizabeth, I am a student/ writer/ fashion lover from Scotland . From a young age, fashion has been an immensely important aspect of my life, and in the past few years this love has grown from my discovery of Hollywood legends such as Audrey Hepburn, Grace Kelly, Diane Keaton and many more. Through this admiration, I was able to appreciate the many eras of fashion and the unique interpretations of style which keep it interesting and ever changing; it is the individual takes which I love the most, as it is completely expressive and different for every one of us. So, I am excited for this next chapter of my life to see how my own style( and life) evolves during university, lots of travelling( I hope) and beyond.
