‘Groundbreaking’ Floral Trend

As you have probably guessed from my last post, I am a massive fan of anything floral! So, I thought that this is the ideal time to look out some new things to add to my collection. Whether it is for a special occasion or a new top to wear with your jeans, there are so many gorgeous floral pieces in the shops right now.

For anyone currently searching, here are some of my favourites for the new season:

1.ridress

This dress is number one on my wish list, I am so in love with it! It’s the perfect day time spring dress, and would be so easy to wear with some black ankle boots, handbag and add a black cap if you like.

2. crop top

This top would be great for a casual day out with a pair of jeans and some ankle boots or some black pumps!

3. kimono

I love how versatile this piece is, as it could be worn either on holiday to the pool or at home going out for lunch with a pair of blue jeans and a white t-shirt, or dressier with some black jeans and heels. It’s on my wish list, however it is slightly pricey; the good thing about a kimono is that they keep coming back into the trends every year so it is another good investment!

4. floral

This dress is very sophisticated and structured and yet I think the off the shoulder style keeps it more youthful, while the bold green and floral print finish it off to become the perfect Spring/ Summer occasion dress.

5. topshop shirt

Apologies for the pun but Topshop do sell some of the coolest tops, and this shirt is currently one of my favourites. It is definitely an item which I would have to ask myself ‘am I was confident enough to wear this’ but I always try to push myself to take some style risks sometimes and I think this shirt is very quirky so I would say it was one risk worth taking! I would probably style it with a pair of blue skinny jeans and ankle boots.

6. ted bakerrr

Anyone who knows me will know that I am slightly obsessed with Ted Baker and I think any of their dresses are perfect for a Spring/ Summer wedding or event. While they are definitely slightly on the pricey side, their dresses are always a good investment because they are very classic and timeless in my opinion, including this youthful, fun yet sophisticated dress from their new range which I am in love with! Students get 20% off right now as well so that’s a bonus!

7.necklace1

Everyone needs a pretty flower necklace to wear on the (semi) sunny Spring days! Perhaps you are looking for a way to make a more subtle nod to this ongoing trend, then a pretty necklace like this one would be perfect!

8.zara shoes

I am so desperate for these Zara shoes they are so different and would look great with a pair of black jeans to wear on a nice sunny day or take them on holiday with you! #

9. bag

This Mango bag is a little different form the usual black handbag and would look great day or night! It’s also on sale for £22.99 instead of £49.99 for anyone who loves a bargain (who doesn’t?!)!

Hopefully this will inspire you to fall in love with florals all over again! (that sounds so cheesy, apologies)

Sincerely,

Hello! My name is Stephanie Elizabeth, I am a student/ writer/ fashion lover from Scotland . From a young age, fashion has been an immensely important aspect of my life, and in the past few years this love has grown from my discovery of Hollywood legends such as Audrey Hepburn, Grace Kelly, Diane Keaton and many more. Through this admiration, I was able to appreciate the many eras of fashion and the unique interpretations of style which keep it interesting and ever changing; it is the individual takes which I love the most, as it is completely expressive and different for every one of us. So, I am excited for this next chapter of my life to see how my own style( and life) evolves during university, lots of travelling( I hope) and beyond.
