Goodbye 2017

I have never been one to make resolutions for a new year because I think too often setting these impossible targets puts too much pressure on us that we stop feeling motivated to start them. I like to set myself new ambitions and goals all year round instead of just the end of December, however, it may sound cheesy, but on NYE I always find it important to look back on the past year and all of the happiness and changes it has brought, and try to begin the new year feeling optimistic and open minded about what it may throw at me.

This year has been the biggest of my life, and right now I am finding it strange to realise how much things have changed in the past 12 months. I turned 18, went to prom, finished High School, began my own blog and started university, and while for many this may not sound like anything dramatic, for me this was a lot of change to my life. It may be considered slightly strange, but I actually loved school and was really sad to leave but was excited to begin university and become a little more of a grown up!

I am realising that it is so important not to compare life in the past to what is happening currently because that would prevent you from moving forward and embracing the happiness of the moment(cheesy I know).  So, while I may not know what 2018 has in store for me, I am hopeful that it will be a year full of happiness, fun, travel, family and growth as I am sure there are a lot more changes in my life to come.

Happy New Year!

Hello! My name is Stephanie Elizabeth, I am a student/ writer/ fashion lover from Scotland . From a young age, fashion has been an immensely important aspect of my life, and in the past few years this love has grown from my discovery of Hollywood legends such as Audrey Hepburn, Grace Kelly, Diane Keaton and many more. Through this admiration, I was able to appreciate the many eras of fashion and the unique interpretations of style which keep it interesting and ever changing; it is the individual takes which I love the most, as it is completely expressive and different for every one of us. So, I am excited for this next chapter of my life to see how my own style( and life) evolves during university, lots of travelling( I hope) and beyond.
